Powell and Creasy was set up by me, John Powell and my good friend Will Creasy in 2014 to provide high quality,  cinematic wedding films as special as your day.  As it happened, Will completed his doctor’s degree shortly after we were founded, leaving me solely in charge of the wedding business.

Since then, I have covered a multitude of weddings all over the country, been featured in Tatler and had the opportunity to film in prestigious locations such as Westminster Abbey. The team has also grown and we now have a wonderful mix of videographers available to assist me in capturing your special day.

We’re based in London but will travel nationwide and abroad to capture your day, get in touch to discuss!

OUR APPROACH

Our job is to simply capture the wedding, not to be a part of it. We therefore like to be completely unobtrusive, you hopefully won’t even notice that we’re there!

We use long lenses and discreet cameras to capture you and your guests candidly before slipping off before it gets too hectic (unless you want us to stay!). On the day we’ll be suited and booted just like everyone else. We like to fit in.

BEFORE THE DAY

We always meet our couples before their wedding, it’s a necessity in our eyes. If we’re creating a unique video tailored to two people, we want to meet and get to know them first. It’s also crucial for you to be comfortable with us on the day, meeting over a warm coffee is a great way to do that.

AFTER THE DAY

We aim to get your highlights video to you in a few weeks, hopefully timing it with you return from honeymoon. In busy seasons, we aim for within the month. Our Long Edit takes a bit longer, but we’ll get that to you within a couple of months. It’s often a lovely way to get over the post-wedding blues!

PRICING & DEPOSITS

We understand that weddings are expensive and we aim to be as affordable as possible. Get in touch to tell us more about your big day, we’d love to be there to capture it.

We require a 20% upfront deposit to secure the date and full payment at-least 7 days before the wedding day, it means we don’t have to get in touch with you on your honeymoon!

We’re completely insured for both professional indemnity and public liability, should anything go wrong (it won’t!).
